Project Title: Checking Clean and Corrupt Files

Project Description:
I have a requirement to check files are clean and those which have to been corrupted (.xls, .xlsx, .doc, .docx files).

A simple workflow that looks for files on the source folder, validates them by opening and closing.

Successful Open and Close will be moved to ‘Checked’ folder, corrupt ones i.e. ones that cannot be opened, copied to a failure folder.

The script file for doing the checks will be in c#.

Likewise, a table will be created in SQL server with three columns: File name, status (pass/fail) and Date.

All processed file names will be entered into the table and viewed using Power BI/SSRS.
